December, 18. 2010 Buddy Club Japan’s world premier our two X-Project racing spec./street demo race car Media Day held at Willow Springs International Raceway California USA. The Buddy Club Media Day was a media invite-only private track event on Buddy Club newest demo race cars the GTR35 & Civic FD2 fine tuned by Team Buddy Club Japan & Kuroki Racing Team in Japan. Also introducing to the media our newest Buddy Club sponsor race driver Yasushi kikuchi san, with his outstanding records experience in Super GT Japan, Super Taikyu series Japan, and famous Nurburbring 24 hrs endurance race.
Yasushi Kikuchi is famous known for his winning lap time of 53.6-sec in overall Tsukuba international speedway time attack record in Japan. The track event date was fill with heavy winter rain shower on the race track. Kikuchi maintain running with triple digit speed all the way on slick slippery wet track, and finish at 1:41 fast laps time, which under dry conditions, the GT-R is expected to run low 1:20sec with the Toyo R888 race tires during pre-test run in Willow springs.
